Wow! Is That Really Burl Ives?.....


No it's my husband!
If you are old enough to remember Burl Ives you will certainly see the resemblance.
Every where we go people are always saying" Did you know that you look like Burl Ives?"
Being a pretty quiet man he does not say much about it- not sure if he is flattered or not- but if I had to guess I would say he is!
BTW he would have a fit if he knew I put this on here!LOL

  1. Hehe,..i remember Burl Ives {not from my age mind you,..when i was younger i worked in a cd store..lol} and boy yes, your hubby certainly does look like him...and your hubby looks like a gentle soul.

  5. Can he sing the *Big rock Candy Mountain *song?? that was my favorite till I went to actually see the mountain in Marysville,Utah and boy was I disappointed when all it was was yellow dirt, yes he does look like Burl no if he could strum a few notes

  7. Burl Ives was a true gentleman and a very interesting soul -- don't know if you know this, but once upon a time he was a "hobo" when very young and he literally would sing for his supper with that incredible voice of his...your hubby looks great, love the goatee!!!
