I am so loving the gingerbread squirrel! I remember years ago, when we were very young and poor, we had no money to decorate our first Christmas tree. So we trudged into the woods and collected a hefty bag of pinecones; I delved into my bags of calico scraps to make bows, and made gingerbread ornaments...out of stencils I'd used to decorate our baby's room because I had no cookie cutters! My tree was full of gingerbread bunnies, bears and rockinghorses. It was my favorite tree ever! Thanks for bringing that memory back after 25 years.... Love the idea of the squirrel in the wreath, so warm and inviting! Take Care, Robin
