I finally went to see my Aunt Dororthy yesterday. She was 90 years old on the 16th of July.I had not seen her for 39 years!
I am so glad I went! She was so happy to see me & when I left she told me she would be reliving our visit over & over again before she went to bed. her children have all passed away and it had been two years since her granddaughter had visited. She was so happy & so was I. It triluy is the little things in life that mean the most!!
Good heavens, I had no idea yr computer was fixed and you were back online! Hooray!
ReplyDeleteHow kind of you to visit your Aunt Dorothy. I love that name, isn't it old-fashioned? My neighbor is 83 and she goes by "Dot" -- one grandmother was named "Maude" and the other was "Eva," two quaint names that I think are coming back in vogue...
Oh the computer is not fixed yet- still using a library comp[uter. They are supposed to know today - if my computer is fixable. May be using a library computer for a long time!!
ReplyDeleteIt is the little things in life, Debra. I am glad that you had nice visit with Dorthy and I bet she will be playing it over and over in her head.
ReplyDeleteI bet she was happy to see you.
Have a great week.
Blessings,
