My Other RAOK!

My Aunt is just too good to me. Last Fall she gave me this wonderful flannel pumpkin throw she made. I have kept it on my quilt rack but this year I decided to take it off the rack & use it.

The colors are darker than the appear in the picture.

It is definitely one of my treasures!

  1. That is sure a wonderful throw your aunt made. What a talented lady! I just LOVE the pumpkins, so homey and rustic. Are those frayed seams? I love that look.

  2. Yes they are frayed seams- it is a primitive and rustic quilt- wish I could live at her house! LOL

  3. I DID THE SAME THING...HAD A CRAZY QUILT THAT MY GRANDMOTHER MADE IN AROUND 1905 AND HAD IT PACKED AWAY. NOW THAT I HAVE DECORATED THE ONE BEDROOM PIONEER STYLE...I HAVE IT ON THE BED AND IT LOOKS GREAT AND NO ONE CAN RUIN IT...JUST A GUEST UP THERE ONCE IN A WHILE AND THEY ALWAYS KNOW THE RULES :)
